My Fellow Minnesotans,
We must demand better leadership, newer innovative ideas, and elect politicians who are not too comfortable to change course and embark in a new direction(s) for Saint Paul, Ramsey County, and Minnesota.
The voters have spoken in November, historically taking back both the Minnesota House and Senate to necessitate more fiscally-conservative spending, taxing, and regulatory oversight of our $32 billion biennial state budget which today has in excess of a $6 billion deficit gap to bridge.
We need government that will start working for all of us, utilizing our infrastructure and tax-generating private sector to help create jobs and a future. We can not rely on government to provide all of our solutions via vast spending programs and large-scale unfunded light-rail and other special interest projects. People from Hennepin to Ramsey County (and throughout this state) have had enough of increasing property tax levies and fee increases while elected officials continue to reward endorsing labor unions and themselves with continual pay raises using tax dollars while many others struggle.
This year will bring a better day for a reinvigorated and opportunistic Minnesota, but we must continue to hold OUR government accountable...
All the best to you this new year -
Andy Noble
